Is there anyway to trade from pokemon XD to Pokemon fire red using a game boy player?

If you can, can someone please tell me how?
You can but you requires 2 GameCubes, 2 TVs and the GC to GBA cable. You can switch out the video & audio cables if you only have one TV. It won't eliminate the need for a Nintendo GameCube to Game Boy Advance cable. You can find them at amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-GAMECUBE-Game-Boy-Advance-Cable/dp/B00005YYFE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1263969955&sr=8-1) for about 9 dollars. I'm sure no stores still carries them new, maybe GameStop/EB Games will have some used ones but I doubt it.
