Major i pod problem ?? ?
it wont charge or anything, we have 4 i pod nano 3rd gen in the house so i have tried evey cable to connect it to the laptop, every laptop , every usb plug nothing has worked , at the min it flashing between a blank black screen , a empty main menu ? and a screen that says battrey low please connect to ,
i have had it since may and there is a load of stuff on it so the menu screen shouldent be blank i is a 8gb one , and its allways had a case on it to protect the engraving on the back from being scratchd , , it has never been droped and is allways in my pocket not my bag , any ideas to what it could be and how it can be solevd ASAP im in the uk if that makes any diffrence

ok so i tried reseting it and wel it went of and then insatntely went back to doing what it was doing
Before you go and try to reset it again, just do this:
-Plug it in to charge. Wall socket, usb, whatever.
-LEAVE IT for at least thirty minutes. Don't try to turn it on. Don't try to reset it. Don't press anything or switch the Hold switch. Just leave it.
-Leave it for longer if you can handle it. A few hours is best.
-Then try turning it on. Reset it if it is still acting up.
Right now the battery is too low for it to do anything. Without a substantial charge, it won't have enough power to successfully reset.
A five minute charge or even a ten minute charge may not be enough for it, which is why you need to be patient and leave it to charge for longer.
