Well, as you know, Apple makes the best notebooks on the planet MacBook and MacBook Pro.
These are standards in the industry by which comparative products with judged.
Well, today, i am introducing a third kind of notebook - It's called the MacBook Air.
Now What is the MacBook Air?
In a sentence: It's the world thinnest notebook
So, What does that mean? Well I went out looked all notebooks out there - most people think of these Sony TZ Series, indeed good notebooks and they are thin.
Now I am comparing the Sony TZ Series with the Macbook:
Case:
Sony's case is about 0.8 to 1.2 inches thin
The case of the Macbook is 0.76 inches down to unprecedent 0.16 inches ( I wanna point something out here The thickest part of the Macbook Air is still thinner than the thinnest part of the TZ series.)
So, it's so thin it even fits inside one of these envelopes we all see float around the office, like in the advertisment.
Display:
Sony TZ series have 11-12 inches display most of them 11
Macbook Air uses a full size 13.3 inch display
Keyboard:
Sony did to much compromising and didn't have a full size keyboard
Macbook Air comes with a full size keyboard (+ backlight )

It's got a full size 13.3 inch wide screen LED backlit display.
And not only does it save power, and not only does that give that really bright display - but it's instant on, the minute you open it on the top of the display also the Macbook air provies a built-in iSight camera for video conferencing.
Keyboard
The Macbook air keyboard is perhaps the best notebook keyboard apple ever shipped it's phenominal keyboard and it's full-sized and with the ambient light sensor it's also backlit.
Trackpad
The Apple Macbook air got a very genereous trackpad which is great Apple also built in multi tough gestures support.
Now, as you know, our current notebooks have some gestures built in we've taken that even further when you go to preferences in the MacBook Air you actually get the turn on all source of other types of gestures and there's actually videos in there and show you what they are.
