gameboy advance sp question?
I was wondering if anyone knows if there is anything else i could do with my gameboy advance sp portable game console? I just got it recently and i noticed there is nothing else i can do except play games. I mean thats fine thats what it is for but most everyting on the market now does something else. like the psp, movies picture viewer. or the ipod, music movies pictures or a cellphone can take pics take video play games. so its like everything multi tasks. does this game console do anthing else? I could have sworn i saw a pokemon video at best buy a few months ago for this console. does it play video? well thanks for the info! 
Out of the box the Game Boy Advance is pretty much designed to only play games. Nintendo's primary focus is video games and they have created a device that does just that, and does it well at a reasonable price.
However, some non-game accessories have been released including the Play-Yan/Nintendo MP3 Player and the video cartridges mentioned above.
It is also possible to find special cartridges.that let you run user-created software ("homebrew") that allow you to play video files, video clips and simple programs on par with what is included with a PDA. However the general legality of these cartridges, as they are unsanctioned by Nintendo, is questionable.
