OK, I believe that I am winning my battle with computer addiction, but I still have a ways to go. There were months were I would do absolutely nothing but eat sleep, and play video games. I even have called into work so I could feed my gaming addiction.
After meeting someone, almost immediately gaming became very meaningless/pointless. I canceled my World of Warcraft account and even though I still have the account until July 17th, I haven't touched it in over a month, except for 5 min to give someone my 600+ gold I had on one of my characters.
The problem is that although I have completely broken free from gaming, I am stuck on yahoo answers as well as youtube.com and the internet in general I am supposed to be packing for my move at the end of the month at the moment...
As I typed this question I have relised the solution I must follow, I will pack up my computer...
It's so simple, of course after the move I'll possibly be back here once again but it's a start...
Well, you obviously have a problem. The fact that you have realised it is a great step towards getting better. The simple answer would be to get rid of the internet or preferably the computer all together. You would be surprised how well you can get on without it. Depending on the type of place you live in there may or may not be internet cafe's in which you could get the occasional browsing / email done.
