Assuming that you have the wireless less paul or is it the newer World Tour Guitar? I had a lot of issue with the frets after some time. The buttons just wouldn't show up even though I pressed on them. What I ended up doing was taking it apart and cleaning the contact pads on the circuit board below the frets. There is a rubber piece with a metal contact between the fret button and the circuit board. When it makes contact with the circuit board it closes the the circuit registering the button. What I used to clean it was just a pencil eraser. Once I did this everything worked perfectly. If you have warranty I would always explore that option first and there is no warranty sticker on the neck of the guitar so even if you open it you should not void the warranty. Good Luck
