Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit won't charge second battery!?
I bought an Xbox 360 and with it, a 2nd wireless controller, the play and charge kit (which comes with a rechargeable battery) and another rechargeable battery for the 2nd controller.
However, the kit will only charge the battery that came with it! All pieces are official Microsoft products, but the kit will only charge the battery that was packed with it (in either controller) and NOT the 2nd, separate battery bought (again, in either controller).
Anyone know how to make the kit work with the second battery? I've tried putting it in different controllers etc, it managed to charge once, but not since. Is this a permanent fault with the battery? Should I look at getting another rechargeable battery pack?

i would try checking the leads of the battery. maybe there's something on it, and it's not allowing it to connect right, then not charging right. if not, I'd take it back and get a new one. i think they are only like 10 dollars or so
