How can I connect 3 HDMI cables to a tv with only 2 HDMI inputs. I've heard of splitters but do they work?
I have an xbox 360, PS3 and sky+HD to connect via HDMI to a tv with only 2 HDMI inputs.
Its not a splitter you're looking for its a switcher. It will have multiple HDMI inputs and then 1 HDMI output. You either flick a button on the switcher or use a remote to toggle between the various inputs. They are reasonably common now. Here's a couple examples,
