Do you need to pay for Rift's retail box to play?
I'm confused about this. Do we need to say, pay for Rift's retail version to be able to play the game ontop of subscribing?
Or is there a free digital client available and all we need to do is be subscribed and we're good
Cause I really don't feel like paying that extra 40+ bucks ontop of the 15 a month.
You have to buy the retail version, either as a digital download or as a boxed copy. That entitles you to play for one month. After that, you have to pay the monthly subscription fee. That's standard for most MMOs.
