I'll admit I've totally gotten sucked into the whole Pokemon "craze", and of course, to "beat the game", you have to catch ebery pokemon. I bought a link cable and another gameboy advance (So I now have two), and connected the gameboys to eachother. I put Ruby Version in one, and Sapphire in the other. Turned both on, and went to a pokemon center, and went upstairs to the Cable Club Trading center. Strangly, I got to the "Please wait...press B to cancel" message on both gameboys. But I had the two gameboys literally sitting on a counter for almost two hours-while I know the wait may be long, does it take that long? I know my gameboys and cord work, because I've traded from other versions (such as trading from Red to Blue, Gold to Crystal, etc.).
Can somebody please tell me what's going on?
I remember the pokemon craze, used to spend hours on the origional versions (Red, Blue, Yellow) with my friends.
You definately are having some problems. It should not take that long at all. Clean the connection where you plug the cord in, check the batteries of both gameboys, blow in the game cartridge, and make sure the link cable is securely in.
If none of that works try replacing the equipment.
