iPhone 4 case, what is the best?
So im worried im going to shatter my iPhone 4, If I get it, Im planning on getting a screan protector and case. But out of there, what one is best?

I looked at all sorts of cases, and got the Otterbox Defender. I really like it because it's a full-body case - it even has it's own built-in screen (touch still works fine through it), which means a few drops of water won't bother it any. It's built like a little tank, so you lose the asthetic appeal of the iPhone design but gain great peace of mind. I drop things (most of my books have broken backs) and so protection against falls is extremely important to me. I hesitated to get an iPhone because of that until I discovered the Defender.
On the Defender: the back of your phone is nestled in a felt-lined back piece, there's another piece that wraps around the edges (buttons are covered with the rubber but easily pushed), then the front is protected by a combination plastic plus rubber (the home button is pushed through the rubber protector). The port through which you connect the sync/charger cable also has flippable rubber over it. It's not completely covering everything - the camera and microphone spots are clear, and they have a cutout in the back to show the Apple logo. But supposedly it can survive a pretty high fall - certainly if I drop it down my stairs (as I did with an old pager more than once) or drop it a few feet from a chair (as I have done many times with my old Palm Centro and even older Samsung phone, which were indestructible....), it should survive well. The gripper surface on the back makes it much less droppable than my old Centro. I still can pull it out of my pocket without much trouble.
I also live and work in a high dust/high kitty hair environment, so for me it's easier to deal with a $27 Defender screen for frequent cleaning than a $249 iPhone that I'm afraid I'll drop or otherwise mess up during the procedure... 
The dimensions for comparison are as follows (less drastic cases will increase the weight and size much less):
iDefender 4.85" high, 2.67" wide, 0.66" deep, total case + phone = 7.6 oz
naked iPhone 4.5" high, 2.3" wide, 0.37" deep, 4.8 oz
naked Palm Centro 4.2" high, 2.1" wide, 0.7" deep, 4.2 oz (I didn't even feel the need for a screen protector with the Centro, it has a tough plastic screen already plus a good rim around the screen)
With the Defender, don't put a screen protector on it (will mess up the fit).
Even inside the Defender, it fits in a jeans pocket or a shirt/pajama pocket with no trouble. (Well, that was crucial in my decision....)
Otherwise - at least get a case that fully covers the back as well as providing cushioning for the edges and a rim around the iPhone screen, plus a good screen protector. Then even if the back or front shatters in a bad fall, it should be well-contained and you won't be picking up shards for an hour. The iPhone glass is hardened glass, which is protective, but the lack of a rim around the front puts it into direct contact with any surface it's set on (or drops on), making it more vulnerable than other designs.
Amazon is a good place to find a lot of customer reviews for any model you're considering. Also check out mac mags such as macworld (www.macworld.com), which routinely reviews cases in detail - search for iPhone case in both places. Be aware that the placement of buttons etc. is different on AT&T and Verizon iPhones, so make sure you order a case that definitely fits your carrier's model since the holes in the sides of the case have to fit your phone. Some are labeled "universal", meaning the holes are big enough to fit both types.
And if you search for the particular model on YouTube, you can often find reviews that show you exactly how each case works from receipt of the package to getting it on to your phone. These are often so good that when I received the Defender (cheapest at Amazon), I knew exactly how to put it together without looking at any instructions (which are hidden inside the box as pictures on the box itself) even though it's a 3-piece thing plus a holster attachment that rotates 360 degrees and is handy for propping up the iPhone on the desk. YouTube also has some reviews that test what happens when an iPhone is dropped using various types of cases. The manufacturer's site might also have such information - for instance, Otterbox makes the Defender plus some less tank-like cases, and on its website (www.otterbox.com) has test results and videos to show how the various models operate as well as very useful written material.
