Summertime is a great time to get together with family and friends around the barbecue grill for some good food and great conversation. Having a grill that can keep up with the demands of more than a few people and make you look like a grilling pro will help make your cookout more fun and enjoyable. No one likes to be stuck behind the grill while everyone else is having fun, but with the Weber Genesis e-330 grill, you will be glad that you took the time to invest in a high quality grill.
The E-330 is Weber's new grill for the 2011 model year and is basically the same grill as its predecessor the e-320. The only differences are that the e-330 has a built in searing burner and the burners run back to front instead of side to side which Weber claims is best for maximum heat distribution. The sear burner compliments the grill nicely and helps it reach operation temperatures of about 600 degrees very quickly. While the genny does not need this burner to get up to full operation temperature by itself, the sear burner does come in handy for other things that require a lot of heat.
While the performance of this grill is incredible for the price, it is not built like your average grill. The welded frame supports the E-330 and gives it a solid feel that you just cannot get from most other grills on the market. If you go to your local grill supply store and look at the different models, you will easily be able to see why many people like it for its solid appearance. It is built like a tank and many people who have owned a Genesis have stated that the grill itself is built to last longer than a decade. That means you get the most out of your money when purchasing this grill.
The porcelain enameled exterior of the grill gives it a nice finish and since it is available in three different colors, you will be able to choose one that looks good with your current deck setup. This grill also will not rust out on you because of the baked on finish. If you have had a cheap grill in the past you know that after a few years they can start to deteriorate and they never seem to last more than a few years max. This is not true of the e-330 because of how it is made and it will give you many years of grilling pleasure.
The last thing to note is that the cast iron grilling surface is large enough to fit a ton of food on and while it may not be as large as some of the competitor's grills, it is made out of cast iron which is a joy to cook on. It distributes heat to the food nice and evenly and makes burgers and steaks taste great because it helps to lock in the juices which is important for great tasting meat.
So if you are looking for a grill for the summer and don't want to settle for something that will not last, the Weber Genesis E-330 grill is a good choice.
